The mission of the collections program is to actively research, identify, acquire, and preserve materials relating to the rich cultural legacy of the Grand Ronde Tribe and provide these resources for interpretation and community access.

The vision of Chachalu is to support the Tribe in its sovereignty, becoming owner, manager, and steward of cultural resources within its ceded lands and other areas of interest, and ensuring that our cultural practices are preserved and continue.
